During this series Saeed Ajmal took 24, Abdul Rehman 19 and Muhammad Hafeez 5 wickets. Last record of 45 wickets was made bye Pakistani bowlers in 1987-88 against England.
Now Saeed Ajmal is the second bowler on country level and fifth bowler on world level who took 24 or more wickets in a three or more test matches series. Abdul Qadir was the first Pakistani bowler who took 30 wickets against England in 1987-88.
